There are two types of names in general use on the Internet. The second type is a unique domain name which belongs only to your business, such as http://disney.com or http://www-masters.com. Because this type of name belongs to your company, you can move your web site to another service provider and the name will travel with you, guaranteeing that your visitors will continue to locate you on the Internet. A unique domain name requires a set-up fee and yearly registration fees which are nominal.
